Hi! I'm Morgan North (she/her). Born and raised in Pennsylvania, I've always loved stories. As a little girl, making up stories about people was referred to as ‘lying.’ So, after graduating from a creative writing high school, and understanding the difficulty of a career in writing, I focused on my second favorite thing: the characters.

 

Ten years and a Psychology Master’s degree later, I capitalized on my education to create the characters in my debut series: Promise of Night. Technically a romantic fantasy, the unique world and magics serve as a catalyst for the exploration of identity, the power of lies, and the intricate way trauma affects relationships.
